Cobroxin has been receiving rave reviews! Please see our Testimonials page for more details.
Cobroxin is aimed at treating various levels of chronic pain. Using a pain scale of 1 to 10, Cobroxin may be used to treat pain in the range of 2-6. Moderate pain is defined as pain that interferes with sleep or work. Severe pain interferes with all activities (7-10) when a physician should be consulted.
Cobroxin is specifically indicated to treat pain associated with: lower back pain, shoulder pain, cramps, migraines and neuralgia. Clinical experience shows that Cobroxin may also provide relief from other forms of pain such as arthritis and the pain associated with cancer.
Chronic pain is defined as pain that lasts longer than 3 months. Some experts define it as lasting longer than 6 months. Chronic pain may be related to a number of different medical conditions including (but not limited to) diabetes, arthritis, migraine, fibromyalgia, cancer, shingles, sciatica, and previous trauma or injury. Chronic pain may worsen in response to environmental and/or psychological factors.
Stage 2 pain is defined as pain that interferes with sleep or causes the occasional lost day at work. On a scale of 1 to 10 Stage 2 pain would range from 4-7.
Cobroxin needs time to build up in the body so a specific dosage of Cobroxin is suggested for the first week until the pain reaches a comfortable level. At that point, the frequency of dosing can be reduced to an as-needed basis.

The majority of reported adverse effects to cobra venom are associated with the neurotoxic components of the venom. In clinical studies, subjects injected with cobra venom reported the following dose related adverse effects: headache, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, dizziness, sweating, palpitations, diplopia, nystagmus, hemiplegia. If they occur, the side effects of oral administration are usually nausea, headache and upset stomach.
Allergic reactions, sometimes severe (anaphylactic), to cobra venom have been reported when the product is injected. The first symptoms of anaphylaxis are body wide redness and rash, itchy palms and feet, cold sweats. Anaphylaxis manifests usually within 30 minutes of administration. If untreated it can lead to difficulty breathing and a serious drop in blood pressure, both of which can be life threatening. The use of antihistamines was found to alleviate the allergic reaction. Oral administration is unlikely to cause this reaction. If you suspect you may be experiencing an allergic reaction, seek immediate emergency medical attention.
